Rebecca & Paul: High School Sweethearts

Before friends and family, High School sweethearts Paul and Rebecca made a promise to love, cherish and respect each other throughout their lives together.

On a whirlwind 5 week trip travelling throughout Europe, Paul got down on one knee and proposed to his sweetheart on a paddle boat in Prague.

Back home, the couple held their vintage themed wedding at Parkwood International Golf Course on the Gold Coast. Lace and a 'dusty' colour scheme tied together Bec's wedding gown, cake, flowers and bridesmaid dresses. 

Ray Lawler Studio was the photographer chosen for the couples magical day. "Paul and I were so happy with Ray's work on the day. He made our day so relaxed and getting photos taken fun! We got several positive comments from our guests for the work he did. Simon, the videographer, captured every special moment from the day that I could sit and watch it over and over again"

In the lead up to the big day, Bec and her father took rock n roll dance lessons, performing a routine to Footloose by Kenny Loggins for their 'father daughter dance'. "We had so much fun learning the routine and the father daughter time together was something I'll treasure forever." Of her wedding day, Bec said "It truly was the happiest day of our lives and a fairytale wedding that we will never forget."
