My name is Curtis Brownjohn and I'm a Wedding Videographer and Wedding Photographer based in Brisbane and Gold Coast, Queensland. My journey as a creative artist began in my hometown of Darwin, Northern Territory when I picked up a video camera in high school and started making feel-good films for family and friends, documenting all the adventures we had together — the exciting and the everyday. I loved cutting those little moments together and it was fun to see everyone's reactions to the videos as they watched them for the first time. After moving to South Australia and studying filmmaking and cinematography at Flinders University, I worked at the Adelaide Football Club producing their TV show 'The Crows Show' before eventually gravitating back to making feel-good films for loved up couples on their wedding day — and you can't get more feel-good than that!

For the last 10 years I've provided my unique brand of Cinematic Wedding Videography to over 200+ couples and more recently have been offering Wedding Photography as well. It's incredibly fulfilling to me not only as an artist but as a human being to be invited along to such an important occasion in people's lives and to document that special day as candidly as I can. I look to capture the connections people have with each other — not only between spouses but also their families and friends. All those little glances across the room and exchanges of words or smiles are the ingredients that I seek to paint an electric picture of the day with. I love using my passion for cinematography to capture those special moments and whether it's a cinematic wedding video, super 8 film or a gallery of wedding photos, my goal will always be to give you something to laugh at, cry with, and cherish for the rest of your lives.
