Elizabeth de Varga Couture Bridal Collection 2013

Categories: Dresses

Thursday night saw the launch of Elizabeth de Varga’s 2013 Couture Collection. With flowing gowns that seemed to float along the runway, chief designer Tammie Nitschke has created a romantic, feminine collection adorned with lace accents, delicately defined beading, and statement-making feather details.

From traditional long and flowing wedding gowns with on-trend trains to full-skirted, tea-length gowns, the collection showed a variety of styles for brides. The opening gown, Vera, was a show-stopping, fishtail number featuring the ever popular one-shouldered neckline. Classic brides will adore the millefeuille of tulle featured in the  lace-bodiced  Snow gown. One of the strongest trends we’ve seen in 2013 is a non-traditional colour palette, and this season Elizabeth de Varga showed old Hollywood glamour in slinky black silk with the Delilah (pictured) and Jana gowns.

The Elizabeth de Varga bride is treated to personalised service that tailors the experience—and the wedding gown— to a bride’s particular requirements. There are three new collections to explore (below is only a sample) so visit their Stones Corner or Maroochydore boutique to see the latest looks.
