Tess and Ricky met while playing touch football, upon learning that Tess was single, Ricky pursued her relentlessly until she became his girlfriend.
Tess and her bridesmaid's found their gorgeous gowns at Brides of Manuka. The crystal embellished neckline and beautiful flowing shape of Tess's wedding gown was perfect for her beach front ceremony. As were her bridesmaid's swirling rainbow coloured gowns. Tess's feathered fascinator was from Viktoria Novak Design.
Tess and Ricky's ceremony took place at Blenhaim Beach on New South Wales' South Coast, and the location was nothing short of stunning!
The ceremony was officiated by Jamie Borg, who created for Tess and Ricky, "The Story of Us," to read at their ceremony,
"Early on in their relationship both Ricky and Tess knew their connection went beyond anything they’d previously experienced. They had become best friends.
October 10 marked an important development in this relationship. Tess was cooking cutlets in her trackies that evening. She wasn’t feeling very well and may have been yelling at Ricky to get on with the vacuuming, while he was attempting to ask her about how other friends of theirs had made proposals. Tess admits that she was being belligerent and downright rude, and poor Ricky got a bit scared when she seemed to think romantic proposals were tacky – well, that blew all his ideas right out the window! So he decided to play it safe and stopped beating around the bush. He asked her then and there to marry him.
After Tess made Ricky get down on bended knee to make it more official, she did of course say yes. And here we are today!"
The reception was held at Huskisson RSL which offered a magnificent view of Huskisson Jetty and the shoreline. Tess and Ricky wanted to make sure their happiness flowed throughout the wedding and included a live band, a lolly buffet from Exquisite Glamour and a photobooth complete with props from
Funbooth in their reception. And according to the bride, their were plenty of laughs throughout the night, "I loved my wedding, I had such a ball. One of my friends made a skipping rope out of napkins it was so funny, we danced the night away and had giggles all night in the photo booth. I had fun at my wedding and such a beautiful relaxed ceremony. I wouldn’t change a thing".
