Debbie and Charles met while they were working at Movieworld, a theme park on Queensland's Gold Coast. The pair become fast friends before finally gathering the courage over a few drinks to confess their mutual attraction for one another. Charles had big plans for his proposal to Debbie, but his early morning balloon flight was cancelled due to bad weather. Undeterred, he took Debbie to O'Reilly's - the location of their first date - and proposed on bended knee in the botanical gardens.

Debbie wore a gown from Winnie Bridal, and made her own veil to match the flowing strapless gown. The gold ribbon and accents on the bodice tied in perfectly with her autumn colour scheme. Her hair and makeup was by Donna Sullivan, while her flowers were carefully chosen and arranged by Julia from Wedding Flowers by Julia Rose. Her bouquet consisted of over 30 roses in gorgeous pastel colours.
The bridesmaids wore floor length Living SIlk gowns, and carried smaller versions of the bride's rose bouquet. While the groom and his groomsmen were all fitted out by Van Heusen, Myer.

The wedding took place at Cedar Creek Estate Winery at Mount Tamborine. The lush Gold Coast Hinterland location provided a stunning backdrop for their April wedding, as well as a beautiful entrance way for the bride in her fairytale carriage from Champagne Carriages.

Cedar Creek Winery offered up some amazing locations for Debbie and Charles' wedding photographs, which were expertly shot by Lauren Joy Photography.

The theme was Autumn, and it was reflected through accents of orange, brown and gold. Their two tier cake was made by Dianne Zipf, and featured some very cute customised cake toppers of the happy couple. They included a lolly buffet in the reception that was themed to their autumn colours, and a photo booth complete with props and costumes for their guests to take some happy snaps at the reception.

This wedding glowed, it radiated happiness and warmth and love, just as a good wedding should.
