Marketing Communications Officer, Anna Duffield found love in now husband Craig Vincent, an electrician from Brisbane. To ask for Anna's hand in marriage, Craig took Anna on a romantic mid-week escape in a gorgeous Mt Tamborine chalet. There, the offer to spend the rest of her life with Craig was accepted. Presented was a stunning art-deco sapphire and diamond ring which inspired the idea for the theme of the wedding, Vintage Elegance. The theme was reflected in the bride’s elegant silk bias-cut dress; dusty pink and charcoal monogram stationery; flowers arranged to look like they were picked from grandma’s garden; and the cocktail reception (lit with tea-light candles) at Joseph Alexanders overlooking the Brisbane River.

The bride’s something old was her mother’s diamante brooch from her 1970s wedding dress and her grandmother’s engagement ring which she wore on her right hand; the something new was her wedding dress; something borrowed was her veil and something blue was her art-deco sapphire and diamond engagement ring. Anna wore an elegant bias cut silk dress featuring a diamante buckle and a vintage inspired sequined lace panel. The bride wore her hair in a chic bob and art-deco drop earrings adorned her ears. The bouquet was a mixture of cream roses, white lisianthus, carnations, and cream spray roses. The bridesmaids wore chic charcoal satin cocktail dresses and carried a bouquet of dusty pink roses. The boys wore charcoal pin-stripe suits.

Broadway Chapel was the perfect place to exchange vows as the intimate chapel is restored with church pews from the 1890s. The guests were treated to an intimate service that reflected the couple's love for each other with personalised vows, touching readings and lots of laughter and tears. After the announcement was official the guests were treated to champagne piccolos, beer, soda water and sandwiches after the ceremony in the chapel courtyard.

The couple chose a cocktail reception at Joseph Alexander's Piano Bar so they could interact with their guests and dance the night away. To enhance the theme of vintage elegance, the room was lit with tea light candles and scattered with collections of antique roses, white carnations, white freesias and cream spray roses in vintage crystal glasses. Furthermore, the table were decorated with lace tablecloths from the bride and groom's grandparents.

To share in the celebrations, guests travelled from across the globe including the United States, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirites, Townsville, Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Toowoomba and the Gold Coast, including their international bridal party from London, Dubai and New Caledonia. To add his own special touch the day, Craig first wooed Anna over email after she caught his eye at work and he was too nervous to talk to her – Anna read the email at the reception, much to the enjoyment of the guests.
