| Melinda Endres surprised her husband to be, Mark Jones, with a special helicopter ride to their wedding ceremony. Mark and his best man were getting dressed at The Watermark in Surfers Paradise and while they thought they would be arriving at the wedding in a Porsche, it turned out Melinda had organised the helicopter – to ensure they would not be late!
Melinda and Mark were married in March last year at Avica Weddings and Resort on the Gold Coast. Following the ceremony in the gazebo, guests enjoyed champagne in the gardens. Melinda chose a red and silver theme for the day to compliment her ivory BellaDonna dress. She carried red roses and her bridesmaid wore a red Sugar and Spice dress. The reception, also at Avica, continued the theme with tables decorated with red roses and silver hearts and the chairs with silver sashes. Similarly, bomboniere were a silver box decorated with a red ribbon and red rose. Guests enjoyed a delicious three-course sit down meal and a fabulous Pandaros wedding cake.
“It was all very easy,” said Melinda, “the Avica wedding coordinator ensured the day ran perfectly”.
Melinda and Mark stayed on at Avica for their wedding night before heading down to Surfers Paradise for their honeymoon at The Watermark.
