“Our day was just as we has planned, something casual yet elegant and beautiful. We chose Sault Restaurant in Daylesford, Victoria for both our ceremony and reception.
The grounds of the estate were beautiful with fields of lavender and a gorgeous Tuscan style building overlooking a private lake. The estate had so much character of its own that I chose a simple theme for our ceremony. We held it underneath a huge old tree decorated with white lanterns. Between the chairs lay an aisle of beautiful white rose petals for me to walk down,” said Stephanie. “I sourced most of my ideas from real weddings magazines and I found Your Local Wedding Guide to be brilliant as it gave me realistic options and ideas.”
The reception was a cocktail style dinner. Candlelight surrounding the room provided a relaxing and casual atmosphere. The wedding cake, a highlight of the night, was delicious and absolutely stunning. Stephanie carried her theme right through from the wedding bouquets to the chocolate mud cake with white icing and beautiful peony roses and satin ribbon.
