Annabella was a labour of pure love for its Sunshine Coast owners, the Steward family. Six years of research, sourcing materials and a lot of hard work went into creating the perfect wedding chapel - not too old-fashioned, but not too modern either - and it has paid off.

The chapel is nestled amongst 14Ha of family-owned cattle property in the beautiful Sunshine Coast hinterland, just 15 minutes from Mooloolaba, and the exact location was chosen for its beautiful surrounding views, “People would come and say how beautiful the property was. I was sort of looking for something to do and thought it would be nice to share it with people somehow,” Judy Steward said.

The eventual design was decided by the views and also a set of antique French iron doors, sourced from a Noosa antique supplier, that now form the entrance to the chapel.

The private chapel is non-denominational, so you can bring your own celebrant or officiant to preside over your wedding day, as well as musicians or music.

The stunning location and the beauty of the chapel itself makes for perfect wedding photos, while the tree lined driveway provides the ideal entrance for a vintage car or horse and carriage.

Annabella the Wedding Chapel is a ceremony venue built from love, and the perfect place for a fairytale wedding day.
